Kayla -Lead
Kayla was born and raised in East San Diego where she grew up in a ranch style setting and learned to love all animals. She has over 10 years of experience in the veterinary industry where she focuses on ensuring every client receives the best care. She is the pet parent to 11 year old Abby the short haired Dachshund who loves going everywhere with her. Kayla is also dedicated to volunteering her time to her community and loves baking, gardening, and enjoying coffee with friends.

Darlene -Lead Veterinary Technician of Training
Darlene began taking care of sick animals when she was just a child, taking sick kittens in and nursing them back to health. Her love for animals guided her into a career as a veterinary technician, where she received her degree in Veterinary Assistance at Pima. She loves spending time with her family, which includes her husband and children and three dogs, Evil Elsa, Donny the Donuts, and Frida, her cat Nightmare, and her two birds. It is easy to see her passion for animals everyday at Amici.
